This legal notice covers the Girovo app as offered on Google Play and on the GitHub release page (https://github.com/elNino0916/Girovo/releases), and the website https://girovo.de.

The phone number is meant for legal matters. There is no support for Girovo by phone.

Company Details

The business is not entered in the commercial register.

The owner is a small business under § 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG). VAT is therefore neither charged nor shown. There is no VAT identification number under § 27a UStG.

Consumer Dispute Resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board within the meaning of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG).

Reporting Legal Violations

If you notice a violation of applicable law on girovo.de or in the Girovo app, please let us know at contact@girovo.de. Please include your name, the exact location of the content (for example the URL, or the screen and app version in the app) and why you consider the content unlawful.

As soon as we become aware of unlawful content or links, we remove them without delay.

Liability for Content

We are responsible for our own content on girovo.de and in the Girovo app under general law. We are not obliged to continuously monitor third-party information that we transmit or store, or to actively look for circumstances that indicate unlawful activity. This also applies to balances, transactions and other information that Girovo retrieves from your bank and displays. Obligations to remove or block information under general law remain unaffected.

Liability for Links

girovo.de and the app contain links to third-party websites, for example Google Play and GitHub. We have no influence on the content or design of these sites. The respective provider or operator is solely responsible for the content of linked sites. If we become aware of legal violations on linked sites, we remove the link in question without delay.

Copyright

The content and works we create on girovo.de and in the app are subject to German copyright law. Rights to content not created by us belong to the respective rights holders. Reproduction, editing or distribution beyond the limits of copyright law requires the prior consent of the respective rights holder.

As an exception, the source code of Girovo is published under the MIT License, and its terms apply to it.

Trademarks

Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC. Girovo is not a Google product and is not affiliated with Google.

Girovo is not offered by a bank. Girovo is not affiliated with the banks the app communicates with over FinTS. Names and logos of banks and other companies are trademarks of their respective owners.
